LogControl offers an extensive check list for the selection of a warehouse management system. The check list is used for dimensioning warehouse management and control systems as well as for the development of warehouse concepts. The check list is not intended to replace functional specifications. Based on the records, however, it will be possible to develop proposals for solution. The persons involved in the project will be able to get an initial overview regarding the order behaviour, shipping and receiving, the storage locations, available warehouse systems engineering, available hardware and software, the organizational structure and much else.
